IPTAPP has developed a packet of materials for use by Illinois Pipe Trades members. The packet consists of:

• An IPTAPP folder to hold all materials

• A large, detailed organizing brochure for workers

• A smaller organizing brochure for giveaways at job sites

• An apprenticeship brochure describing the training, benefits, and work done in the Pipe Trades for students interested in a career

• A direct mailer to contractors

• A direct mailer to end-users

All the marketing materials highlight the superior training, safety, and productivity of UA workers and list the benefits of union membership/affiliation for each audience: workers, contractors, end-users, and students.

Local Unions can also insert their own organizing materials into the folder. The marketing campaign is also an opportunity to showcase our involvement in the community, show the numerous charitable contributions we make, and to dispel many of the myths that surround our profession and unions in general.
