It is a necessity for the voices of working men and women in Illinois to be heard in Springfield. The Illinois Pipe Trades have always been strongly involved during election time, but now we are taking matters a step further - through lobbying.
The Illinois Pipe Trades will have a full-time lobbyist in Springfield working day-in and day-out with all elected officials. The lobbyist will become actively involved in all legislation that affects UA members to ensure that their needs are known and met.
